Your
PDF documents should be made with Acrobat Distiller 4.0 using
the Print
Optimized
setting. Other methods for generating PDF documents may work.
To verify that your PDF is of high enough quality, enlarge the
view to 400%, examine your logo or other small details and verify
that nothing is missing or "pixelated." Typically,
what you see on your screen at 400% is what the document will
look like when it prints. |

Colors should be CMYK for color and grayscale for black and white. |

Those
unfamiliar with submitting Quark documents for output with a
service bureau should not use this format. Along with the Quark
document, all associated graphic files, screen fonts and printer
fonts must be included. Picture boxes containing TIFs must have
a background color selected (not "none"). Styles should
not be applied to text in Quark documents. The actual typeface
should be used instead. |

You
can submit virtually any graphic format. The main concern is
resolution. The higher the resolution, the better your logo will
look. Scaleable eps graphics are preferred. TIFs, JPGs, BMPs
are also fine at 300 dpi or higher. Web graphics are too low
in resolution to use for print output. |
